Frequently asked questions
Which fields are there?+
Text, multi-line text, checkbox, choice, list, date, signature, initials and fixed labels. Every field can be moved, resized and copied to all pages.
What are roles and signature fields for?+
You decide who fills in a field: you before sending, or the recipient for example. When sending with Signovoza, signature fields become the signers' signature fields.
Does the form work in other programs?+
Yes. It is a standard PDF form (AcroForm) that can be filled in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview on the Mac and the browser.
Do I need an account?+
No. Creating, filling in and downloading work without signing in. Only templates we keep for you will need an account later.
Word documents?+
Are converted to PDF on our EU servers first (one operation, deleted right after). Everything else happens in your browser.
Is my document uploaded?+
A PDF is not: it is opened and turned into a form in your browser. Only Word files go to our EU servers for conversion and are deleted there after 60 minutes at the latest.
What does it cost?+
Creating forms from PDFs is free. A Word file counts as one operation from your free monthly allowance.

What “Create PDF form” does
Intake sheets, registrations, handover protocols: many forms exist only as a Word file or a PDF to print. With “Create PDF form” you place fillable fields right on the pages. After that, the form can be filled in on screen, even on a phone.
Who fills in what?
Every field belongs to someone: you, filling in the form before sending it, or a role such as “Recipient”. With “Preview as” you see the form from each role's side. Fields for others stay empty and locked during filling until that person's turn.
Afterwards
“Fill in now” opens the form straight in “Fill PDF form”, without uploading again. Or download the fillable PDF and send it.
