Frequently asked questions
Which sections are there?+
Details (text, date, number, multi-line, with required fields), checklist (yes, no, not applicable, with an optional note), entries (repeated rows, with optional photos) and photos with captions. Plus ready-made blocks such as an equipment list, work done and observations.
Where do my entries and photos stay?+
In your browser. Photos are scaled down here and the PDF is made here. We keep no document archive: nothing of it is uploaded. The draft stays in this browser for up to 7 days so you can continue later.
How does the signature page work?+
Every role that signs (customer and technician, say) gets a signature field with place and date on the last page. That page is always generated separately and never grows, so the fields stay in place even when you add more entries or photos.
Are there limits?+
Yes, so the PDF opens well on a phone: at most 12 pages and 40 photos per document. We warn you before you reach them.
Can I reuse the structure?+
Yes, with an account: “Save as template” keeps the title, sections and example values, never your entries or photos. Every new copy starts empty. We keep templates until you delete them.
Do I need an account?+
No. Setting up, filling in and downloading works without signing in and is free. An account is only needed for saved templates.
Does it work on a phone?+
Yes. Fill in sections and take photos straight with the camera, during an on-site handover for example. The PDF is made on the phone.

What “Create a document” does
Many everyday documents always have the same shape: a header with details, a checklist, a few entries, photos and the signatures at the end. That needs no word processor. You put the document together from sections and the pages follow: each section shows in the preview right away, and long lists or many photos flow onto further pages by themselves.
Structure, fill in today, review
In the structure you set the title, introduction, letterhead and sections, and who signs. Example values show what belongs in a field; they appear only in the structure's preview. Fill in today turns the document into one form with large fields, comfortable on a phone, and photos come straight from the camera. Review shows the document exactly as the PDF will be: only what you entered, no example values, and a list of required details still missing.
Photos that fit a PDF
Phone photos are large. When you add them, they are scaled down in your browser, numbered, stamped with the time taken and, if you like, captioned. Six photos fit on a page. So even a report with twenty photos stays a PDF you can send by email.
Afterwards
Download the PDF, go on filling it in, or sign it yourself. Fields left empty stay fillable in the PDF. The roles' signature fields are laid out so that, when sending with Signovoza, they can become the participants' signature fields.
