Are my photos uploaded?+
No. The photos are converted in your browser and never leave your device.
How large will the PDF be?+
Photos are scaled to at most 2000 pixels on the long edge and saved at an adjustable quality. 20 phone photos usually come to less than 10 MB.
Do iPhone photos (HEIC) work?+
Yes. Safari reads HEIC itself; in other browsers the photo is converted in the browser first. If that ever fails, save the photo as a JPG.
Can I put several images on one page?+
Yes, two or four per page – handy for receipts. With “Fit to image” every image gets a page of its own size.
Are photos straightened or cropped?+
The orientation from the camera is kept. Automatic cropping and straightening come later with “Scan”.
What does it cost?+
Nothing. Tools that run in your browser are always free and need no account.
