Frequently asked questions
Can I get a deleted page back?+
Yes, until you export: Ctrl+Z or “Undo” brings it back. The original file on your device stays unchanged anyway.
Is my file uploaded?+
No. Deleting runs in your browser; the file never leaves your device. Your progress stays in this browser only and is removed after 7 days.
Can I delete several pages at once?+
Yes. Select all the pages concerned and delete them in one step.
Does the file get smaller?+
Usually, because the content of the deleted pages is no longer in the file. To make it much smaller, use “Compress PDF” afterwards.
What does it cost?+
Nothing. Tools that run in your browser are always free and need no account.
Does it work on a phone?+
Yes. Tap the pages and choose “Delete” in the bar. The preview shows at once which pages remain.

What does not belong
A bank statement with blank back pages, a contract with terms the recipient already has, a scan with one page twice: pages you do not need make a document longer and harder to follow. Remove them before you pass the PDF on.
With thumbnails, not blind
Every page appears as a thumbnail, large enough to spot blank and duplicate pages. Select the pages that should go and delete them. Changes are marked, and every step can be undone until you export.
Show no more than needed
Removing a page with personal details, instead of just covering it up, means those details are not passed on at all. That is safer than a white box over the text.
Organise while you are at it
Deleting is part of “Organize pages”. There you can also rotate pages, change the order or insert a page from another PDF or a photo.
