Frequently asked questions
Are my tax documents uploaded?+
PDFs and photos are not: they are combined in your browser and never leave your device. Only Word and other office files go to our servers in the EU for conversion and are deleted there after 60 minutes at the latest.
Can I include photos of receipts?+
Yes. JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC from an iPhone are added as pages of their own. For receipts photographed at an angle there is “Scan”: it finds the edges and straightens the page.
The file is too large for the upload form. What now?+
“Compress PDF” recompresses scanned pages and photos. It runs on our EU servers, counts towards your free monthly allowance, and the file is deleted after 60 minutes.
Can I protect the file with a password?+
Yes, with “Protect PDF”. Then share the password another way than the file, by phone for example.
Does Docuvoza keep my documents?+
No. We are not a document archive. Browser tools upload nothing, server files are deleted after 60 minutes, and a shared link keeps a copy for 24 hours at most.

One attachment instead of twenty
A tax return pulls in a lot of paper: payslips and year-end tax forms as PDFs, donation receipts by post, invoices from tradespeople, receipts for work equipment as phone photos. Your accountant or an upload form often wants all of it as one file. When you combine them, you decide what goes where and get one tidy PDF.
An order that makes sense
Sort the documents the way they will be used, for example by the sections of your return. With “Blank page between documents”, the individual receipts stay clearly separated when someone scrolls through or prints them. Turn any page that is upside down with “Organize pages” afterwards.
Receipts from your phone
Many receipts only exist on paper. Photograph them with your phone and add the photos directly. If a receipt should look as if it came from a scanner, use “Scan” first: it finds the edges, straightens the page and evens out shadows.
Your data stays with you
Tax paperwork is full of personal details. That is why PDFs and photos stay in your browser while you combine them. Only office files need our converter in the EU, and the file tells you so before anything is sent. The tool does not replace tax advice: which documents you need to submit is a question for your accountant or tax adviser.
